Twitter Tips

Twitter is a place where we connect with Friends, Celebrities, Business Groups, etc. And if any of this makes us interested we start following them, and depending upon our activity we too are followed by them. Twitter is the best place to share our thoughts with good volume of members but the space provided to share our thoughts is bit less, we need to adjust our thoughts accordingly so that it can fit into 140 characters. If you want to share something descriptive then you can write it in a blog and share a link in twitter so that interested ones do not miss it.

1. Twitter has imposed reasonable limits to help prevent system strain and limit abuse.

2. Twitter does not limit the number of people who can follow you but they have put limits on how many other accounts you can follow.

3. Every account can follow 2000 users’ total. Once you’ve followed 2000 users, there are limits to the number of additional users you can follow.

4. If you have reached the account based follow limit (after you’ve followed 2000 users), you’ll need to wait until you have more followers before you can follow additional users.

5. If you hit a technical limit, twitter will show you an error message in your browser when you try to perform an action you can find information on our their current updates , DM, and API Requests on. Follow limits are system- wide and support cannot remove or adjust your follow limits.

6. if you want to just follow few more accounts and are unable because of your account based follow limits, you can un-follow a few accounts you’re currently following. Please note, however doing this regularly following and un-following lots of account is violation of the twitter rules. This may result in account suspension.

I suggest my friends to use twitter properly for an active account.  Happy Networking…!!
